We had a nice late winter snow fall at the start of March and although Jackson was sick he really enjoyed himself. We tried to pull him on a sled that Jason had gotten him for Christmas but he was not interested at all. But he did enjoy pulling the sled himself so we settled for that. We enjoyed a fun family snowball fight and had hot chocolate at Emmy's. What could be better!

Also in early March, I had the chance to travel back up up to NoVA for a wonderful but quick visit with Kelly, Lauren and Danielle. Turns out this is the year of babies for sure. Danielle just had her 2nd back in December and the rest of us are due this summer!

At the end of March, Jackson and I headed to my folks for a week to spend some time with Pop and Grandmother plus enjoy some time with our NH friends Sarah and Mallory who were also in town visiting Sarah's folks. We enjoyed time at the park with them along with snack at a local coffee shop (YES - can you believe it - there is a coffee shop in the 'ville!). Jackson enjoyed our visit fully, especially having the chance to wrestle with his Ubba (Uncle Brant), run circles around Mallory and ride on Pop's new tractor.

All winter, Jason had been training for the Ukrops 10K. Jackson, Eleanor (Jason's mom) and I were hand to cheer for all of the runners, especially Jason, his friend Kevin, his student Phil and my cousin Annie! Way to go! Plus I was thrilled that I was able to capture him not only at the start of the race but also as he crossed the finish line. This is all thanks to (a) by new DSLR camera which I LOVE and (b) Eleanor who spotted him as he finished the race. I was clueless but she said she could pick her son out from anywhere! Turns out that is the truth! At the end of the race, we enjoyed the festivities in the park with Jackson thoroughly enjoying his chance to jump on the trampoline!
